Dec. 14 FINALLY Bay Point Marina 10 miles

We
actually did not set the alarm for the first time in 20 days. We went up to the Gazebo and had bloody marys
with Gospel bluegrass with Greg and Carl. Today was Greg's birthday. About 10 we left the dock and did not even touch even though it was low
tide. As we turned into the Big lagoon, Mike and Tracey met us on their little
boat. We pulled into Bay Point at
noon. The boat next to our slip had his
dingy in our slip so we had to sit out in the water idling while he put it up
on his boat. The captain did a great job
backing the boat in for a starboard
tie.

Our friends had organized a
dock party at 3 pm to welcome us back to Bay Point. There were about 30
folks, friends and loopers. Carl and
Greg came also. It was just so great to
be back even though it was a little cool on the dock. We had eaten so much at the dock party, I made
ham and bean soup. We played the Long Game but only played three rouunds before
we crashed,
