Our daughter, Brenda’s birthday is today.  When we got up at 6:30 to pull anchor it was an awesome sunrise. 

There was lots of tow traffic.  NO LOCKS.  There were some wild turkeys on shore and turtles on logs. Seemed to be lots of debris that we had to dodge. We averaged 10.5 mph and were doing so good we made it all the way to mile marker 9. We were anchored by 4.  Tammy gave Roy and I a haircut on the bow of the boat.  We had steak to celebrate and played cards. The trains ran all night but we still got a good nights rest.
